The College Counseling Department at NSU University School supports students and families throughout the college search and selection process. Counselors provide continuous support assisting each student one-on-one in completing applications, reviewing resumes and college essays, preparing for college interviews, accessing financial aid/scholarship information, and formulating an appropriate list of colleges. Students are also invited to attend a broad range of college counseling programs, including workshops, private information sessions, panel discussions with college admissions officers, and more.

NSU University School college counselors continue to develop their knowledge about individual colleges and trends affecting college admission through college visits, membership in professional associations, and participation at regional and national conferences. Counselors educate our students and parents about college admission standards and procedures and facilitate the application process by advocating on behalf of the students with college admissions committees.

Since all USchool students are unique, our college counselors work hard to match each student's abilities, strengths, personal preferences, and career aspirations to the best fit college or university.
