JUST FOR KIDS CLASSES

PK3 and junior kindergarten students enrolled in full day programming are invited to participate in one of our 45-minute, mid-day Just for Kids classes during nap/rest time. Therefore, children who are signed up for these classes will not nap/rest. These exciting programs, taught by our faculty, take place in the Preschool building and give children an invitation to explore innovative learning opportunities in lieu of nap/rest time.

MINi maestros 

Children will discover famous artists through hands-on fun! Each week they’ll experiment with exciting art materials and creative techniques, building confidence, imagination, and fine motor skills along the way.

once upon a preschool

This literacy-based learning series, introducing new stories, will transport children through the power of reading and story-telling. Themed activities and experiences will be sure to create a love of reading for years to come.

Finger gym

The Finger Gym is specifically designed to enhance prewriting skills. Through fun, theme-based activities and experiences, children will strengthen the muscles in their hands and arms while also furthering hand/eye coordination.

steam in the wild

In this nature-themed STEAM class, children will explore the outdoors through hands-on science, art, engineering, and sensory play. Each week they’ll investigate real natural materials and experiment with building, observing, measuring, and creating – supporting creativity, problem-solving, fine motor skills, and a growing appreciation for the natural world.

Cooperation and sportsmanship take center stage as children learn about the importance of exercise and the fundamentals of sports in a fun and active environment.
