Shark Camp at Camp Nova is open to students in grades 2-8 and provides campers with a summer full of smiles, laughs, fun with new friends, and plenty of good memories. Campers spend their summer mastering the art of archery, stunting in cheerleading, learning martial arts, grooving to the music in dance, exploring technology and engineering, improving their sports skills, and more! A camper's summer experience also includes swimming in a state-of-the-art aquatics center, interactive Terrific Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, and Fun Friday events, weekly field trips, and exciting off-campus and in-house activities.
There's so much fun to be had at Camp Nova! Whether it's dressing up for Halloween in July, decorating cakes for our camp-wide contest, laughing your socks off during the scavenger hunts, or simply watching the Hawaiian dancers during our annual luau, campers are sure to have the best summer yet.
Shark Camp also allows campers to tailor their summer experience by spending additional time each day doing their favorite "elective" activity including general sports (flag football, basketball, volleyball, etc.), 3-D printing and Minecraft, robotics, electronic game design, Curtanna, kid coding, dance, cheerleading, art technique (watercolors, pastels, printmaking, etc.), archery, ceramics, and cartooning!
